Waterproofing Your Toilet
Generally when waterproofing toilets there are two types of membrane waterproofing solutions we can use which are:
- Sheet Membrane
- Liquid Membrane
In the next step of waterproofing, we’ll measure the area to know the required amount of waterproofing materials and plan for any obstructions that need special care such as drainage and special wall gaps.
Surface cleaned and checked for adhesion. Once the surface has been properly cleaned and prepared for waterproofing, we prepare the waterproofing material.
We will start applying the waterproofing material on the corners of the room first then work on the edges later. A smoothing tool is used to remove the excess material.
Membrane is then applied on the floor in a smooth layer. Cutouts are made for drainage and other things that go through the floor or wall.
Once the waterproofing process has been completed, tiling can begin in your fabulous bathroom! You will never have to worry about your bathroom leaking ever again.
